This command displays the instant help window, which will automatically update if you move the caret, or while browsing the automatic completion popup. In this window you can see the part of the LilyPond documentation related to the word at the cursor.

The LilyPond manuals are packaged together with LilyPondTool, providing tree view, unified index and free text search.

This help document can also be opened from the menu.
